Do you use Apple's Shortcuts app that was added in iOS 13?

Despite its usefulness, Shortcuts has low name recognition, but it has actually continued evolving to become incredibly convenient over the years.

However, there is still no easy way to save values.

You have to create a file, get the folder path, save it...quite a hassle.

So I created an app that allows you to easily save values. This is my first paid app.

What can it do?

You can read and write String and Int values from Shortcuts.

It allows saving values on a single device and sharing values across devices via iCloud.

Reading and writing requires a Key string. By using the same Key, multiple Shortcut recipes can access the same value.

From Shortcuts

list

Open Shortcuts and select this app (ShortcutsState), and it will display options like this.

There are 8 combinations of Read or Write, Local or iCloud, String or Int.

Accessing it actually looks like this.

Once you call Read once, you can then access the variable like normal.

From this app's (ShortcutsState) GUI

You can also operate via the GUI.

Add, Update, and Delete is possible.

Install

This is a paid app (one-time purchase).

The price is $1.99.
